Terri Ann Parnell to be Inducted into the 2016 Class of Academy Fellows
I am thrilled to announce that I have been selected by the American Academy of Nursing as one of 164 highly distinguished nurse leaders in the 2016 class of Academy fellows. Inductees will be honored during the Academy’s annual policy conference, Transforming Health, Driving Policy, which will take place October 20-22, 2016 in Washington, D.C., when I will receive the FAAN credential.
The Academy fellows represent all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and 28 countries, with only 2,400 nurses across the world receiving this highly prestigious credential. Fellow selection criteria include evidence of significant contributions to nursing and health care, and is also based on the extent the nominee’s nursing career has influenced health policies and the health and wellbeing of all.
