Principal & Founder of Health Literacy Partners Receives FAAN Credential

Health Literacy Partners is proud to announce that Terri Ann Parnell has officially received the FAAN credential. Fellow inductees were honored during the Academy’s annual policy conference, Transforming Health, Driving Policy, which took place on October 20-22, 2016 in Washington, D.C.

“This past weekend, I was honored to join a distinguished cohort of 164 nursing colleagues as I was inducted into the American Academy of Nursing as a Fellow. I look forward to collaborating with all new inductees and AAN Fellows to continue to advance the Academy’s mission and continue my lifelong passion of promoting health equity by enhancing health literacy. Congratulations to all honorees and fellows!” — Terri Ann Parnell DNP, MA, RN, FAAN

The Academy fellows represent all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and 28 countries, with only 2,400 nurses across the world receiving this highly prestigious credential. Fellow selection criteria include evidence of significant contributions to nursing and health care, and is also based on the extent the nominee’s nursing career has influenced health policies and the health and wellbeing of all.
