New York Academy of Medicine Selects Terri Parnell as a Fellow Ambassador
I am pleased to announce that I have been selected by the New York Academy of Medicine as one of seven Fellow Ambassadors for their 2016-17 Fellow Ambassadors Program, now in its second year.
NYAM has a prestigious membership base of more than 2,000 experts in health professions. These ambassadors will serve as expert spokespersons for important health-related topics, working with Academy staff and leadership. According to the Academy, “Ambassadors were selected by the Academy based on their interest and ability as spokespersons for their field of expertise, as well as for their ability to address broad-reaching topics in the news today such as, urban health, prevention and health disparities.”
